Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) : Florence, AL

  • Compensation: $52,500 to $71,800 per year

At Remedy Behavioral Health we are excited to add a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to our outpatient clinic in beautiful downtown Florence, Alabama as well as assigned facilities. We provide an integrated approach that focuses on the individual’s whole person and their unique psychiatric needs, backgrounds, situations, and personal goals. The Counselor will work closely with the psychiatrist and nurse practitioner, whether in our outpatient clinic or in our facilities by providing the following services to our clients.

  • Perform initial assessments, intakes, and prepare documentation. The Counselor can conduct thorough initial assessments and intakes to gather comprehensive information about the client’s mental health history, current concerns, strengths, and resources.
  • Assist in formulating a treatment plan. The Counselor can collaborate with the psychiatrist, nurse practitioner, and other team members to formulate a treatment plan that addresses the client’s specific needs and goals.
  • Document progress of client as outlined. This documentation ensures continuity of care and provides valuable information for ongoing assessment and adjustment of the treatment approach.
  • Conduct Follow-Ups: The Licensed Professional Counselor will regularly follow up to monitor their progress, address any emerging concerns, and provide ongoing support as needed. This proactive approach focuses on the client’s unique psychiatric needs.
  • Ensure all services are provided as indicated on the treatment plan. This may involve coordinating appointments, referrals, and other resources to meet the client’s unique needs effectively.

Your work as an LPC will be optimal to the client-centered approach at Remedy Behavioral Health. By using your expertise in counseling and therapy, you’ll contribute to improving clients’ mental health outcomes and supporting them in decreasing psychiatric symptoms to improve and maximize quality of life.

We provide an integrated approach that focuses on the individual’s whole person and their unique psychiatric needs, backgrounds, situations, and personal goals. The Counselor will work closely with the psychiatrist and nurse practitioner, whether in our outpatient clinic or in our facilities by providing the following services to our clients.
